Sylvia Rivera-Vecchio

Rivera-Vecchio, Sylvia CoverMs. Sylvia Rivera-Vecchio’s most recent pilgrimage allowed her to travel to Rome, Italy, where she was able to visit the basilicas, the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum and St. Peter’s Square. She valiantly climbed the Spanish Steps and was able to the embrace the views of Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, completing her journey in Sordevolo, Italy. Her current journey is completely voluntary — she is caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s, a task which she finds both humbling and fulfilling.
